Коллеги,
на просторах интернета я нашел Excel документ, в котором описаны изменения объектов системы в DAX2009 по сравнению с DAX 4.0.
Возможно, что список не полный, но возможно он буден кому-то полезен.

Within the worksheet for each type of element, you can filter on the Status column to determine whether the element is New, Changed, or Deleted.

The categories of comparison are:

• Classes - This category lists application classes and methods that have changed. Changes include, but are not limited to, changed IDs, names, additions and deletions. New and deleted classes do not have their members listed. Objects with changed names and changed IDs are highlighted in yellow. This information is particularly important before doing a code upgrade.

• Tables - This category lists application tables, table collections, and underlying table elements (field, field group, index, instance method, static method, and relation) that have been changed. Objects with changed names and changed IDs are highlighted in yellow. This information is particularly important before doing a code upgrade.

• Forms, Reports, Queries, Menus, Perspectives, Configuration Keys, Security Keys, Enums, Extended Types, Resources and References - Objects that are new,deleted, or changed are listed.

Note: This is a list of changed elements that compares objects from previous versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX to the same elements in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. While we have attempted to create a complete list, it has not been fully verified that all objects from the previous versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX being compared are included. На форуме он вроде бы не публиковался, я по крайней мере не нашел.
Но может быть плохо искал.

Толку с него всё равно маловато - он для английской версии, локализации там нет.

Смысл перехода с 3.0 sp5 на 4.0 или 5.0
