In order to continue to service our existing Dynamics AX 4.0 SP1 customers, hotfixes continued to release on AX 4.0 SP1 while Microsoft worked on the locked down AX 4.0 SP2, which meant some of those new hotfixes were not included in Service Pack 2 prior to its release on PartnerSource/CustomerSource. The list of these hotfixes has been identified, and we are committed to including those hotfixes into the AX 4.0 SP2 cumulative hotfix layer on a staggered basis with input from the support teams and partners and customers being used to drive the priority. What this means is that the missing hotfixes will be released into the AX 4.0 SP2 cumulative hotfix DIS layer along with any new hotfixes found on SP2 or SP1. This page contains a list of the identified hotfixes and will be updated periodically with the release number of the SP2 DIS layer that contains the forward ported hotfix so that a partner or customer will know the minimum DIS layer for AX 4.0 SP2 that would be required if they want to move to SP2.
If a customer or partner experiences one of these missing hotfixes on AX 4.0 SP2 which has not been forward ported yet, they may contact their regional support center and the request will be prioritized along with the other new bugs being triaged. Outside of the customer and partner requests, the global support teams are continuing to prioritize the remainder of the list and are actively working with the development team on this effort. The following represents a list of all hot fixes that will be ported to the Service Pack 2 hot fix layer on a periodic basis, and as they are posted the SP2 DIS Release column will be updated to reflect their availability on Service Pack 2. To obtain any of these hot fixes or to request that a particular hot fix be ported proactively to Service Pack 2 contact your partner or, if enrolled in a support plan directly with Microsoft, submit a request to the Dynamics AX Support team. Please reference the Knowledge Base ID mentioned in the below list when submitting a case to the support team. 12/7/2007 - All the Bug ID's in this list have been fixed in build 4.0.2503.47 or later for DIS and Kernel. |
