The Investment project.
The Investment project is the final project type. This type is once again managed by the ledger principles. The reason for the grayed out box in the diagram is that Axapta Project currently does not fully support this project type. You can activate costs, but you will not be able to eliminate the total costs value of the project against an asset, a ledger account or a new project. This means that the costs of making an investment (building a new office building, for instance) cannot be compared to the increase in value the new investment represents, when the project finally ends and all costs have been registered.
